About the role
Who we’re looking for
SourceAmerica is seeking an additional Dynamics 365 Tester contract resource. While the original position description was written for a Dynamics 365 CRM Tester, we are specifically seeking candidates with hands-on testing experience in Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (F&O), rather than or in addition to CRM (Sales / Marketing) testing experience.
What you’ll do
Key responsibilities
Design, execute, and maintain test cases and test scripts for Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (F&O) modules.
Identify, log, track, and retest defects through to resolution using established defect management processes.
Perform functional, regression, integration, and UAT support testing across F&O finance workflows.
Validate financial processes including General Ledger, Accounts Payable/Receivable, Budgeting, and Procurement within D365 F&O.
Support data migration and data validation testing efforts tied to D365 F&O implementation activities.
Collaborate closely with functional consultants, developers, and business stakeholders to clarify requirements and test coverage.
Document test results, prepare status reports, and communicate testing progress to project leadership.
Support CRM (Sales / Marketing) testing activities as needed, in addition to primary F&O testing responsibilities.
Requirements
Required skills
- Proven hands-on experience testing Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (F&O); CRM (Sales / Marketing) testing experience is a plus.
- Strong understanding of finance and operations business processes and how they’re configured within D365 F&O.
- Experience writing and executing detailed test cases, test scripts, and regression test suites.
- Familiarity with defect tracking and test management tools.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional project teams.
- Ability to work independently in a remote contract environment.

Engagement terms
Initial contract term of 12 months, with the possibility of future contract-to-hire opportunities based on performance and business need.

Candidates must not require sponsorship, to allow for a potential future conversion to a direct SourceAmerica employee.
