About the role
Who we’re looking for
We are seeking an experienced Custom Software Engineer – AI Security to help design, secure, and maintain next-generation AI-powered applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in AI security, agentic AI systems, threat modeling, and secure software development practices. This role focuses on safeguarding Large Language Model (LLM) applications and Agentic AI systems through security controls, adversarial testing, governance frameworks, and continuous monitoring.
What you’ll do
Key responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain AI safety and security controls for LLM-based and Agentic AI systems.
Develop defenses against prompt injection attacks, jailbreak attempts, unauthorized tool usage, and data leakage.
Protect sensitive information through PII security controls and responsible AI practices.
Conduct AI red teaming and adversarial testing to identify vulnerabilities and misuse scenarios.
Build automated AI safety evaluation frameworks and regression testing suites.
Perform threat modeling and risk assessments covering memory systems, retrieval mechanisms, tool integrations, and external services.
Implement runtime monitoring, anomaly detection, and incident response capabilities for AI agents.
Establish and enforce AI governance, security, compliance, and responsible AI standards.
Collaborate with engineering, security, and product teams to ensure secure AI deployments.
Requirements
Required skills
- 5+ years of experience in AI Security, Cybersecurity, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong experience with AI Model Security Threat Scanning.
- Expertise in Agentic AI Foundational Security Controls.
- Experience implementing Agentic AI Security Development Lifecycle (AISDL) practices.
- Strong understanding of AI threat modeling, risk assessment, and secure system design.
- Experience with AI safety testing, adversarial testing, and red teaming methodologies.
- Knowledge of security monitoring, governance, compliance, and responsible AI frameworks.

Qualifications

Equivalent hands-on industry experience in AI Security, Cybersecurity, Machine Learning, or Software Engineering.
